Brian Sopp joined Diversified Funding Inc. in 1999 as partner and manager of DFI’s commercial finance affiliates and is responsible for the company’s loan origination, financing and all day to day operations.
He has over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, much of it with New England Commercial Banks. Prior to joining DFI, Brian spent 20 years with UST Corp where he formed the Commercial Real Estate Lending operation which grew to $250 million in outstanding and had originations of $100 million a year. As Executive Vice President and Senior Real Estate Lender Brian was responsible for all corporate policy, loan approvals and administrator of the Real Estate lending operation.
Brian graduated from McGill University and has an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and resides in Andover, Massachusetts.
